I wish there was a visionary at work or someone who could see the potential in me. How do I find someone like this?

A:  You are that visionary you’ve been seeking.

Here’s Some Empowering Advice…

When someone asks this question, I often wonder:  Do they not believe in themselves?  Do they think the world is full of people who are idiots and who are not visionaries?

Problem with seeking a visionary or someone who can see the potential in you is:

1. That you’re going to have to wait a long time.
2. And why should anyone take you under their wings?

Finding a mentor or coach is great (ahem), but drop this idea that you need babying and development by someone else greater than you.  Some people may know more things than you and should be respected – but they are not gurus, Gods, or saviors to be worshipped.  Your life is NOT a desperate cause.  No.

Instead, remember: YOU are the hero of your life. See your own potential and bring it out!  You have all the answers in you.

And..if you think everyone is an idiot – thats a wrong way to see it. You should be the visionary seeing the potential in others and helping THEM out and bringing them up.  Quoting John F. Kennedy, “My fellow Americans, ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.”

Drop this attitude that others need to help you and cultivate your potential.  Leaders help themselves out and help others out.
